He married Theresa Sabina Luckett in 1847 in Meade County, Kentucky. David and Theresa had 4 children: Daniel, Dora, John J. and Thomas Ignatius Carrico.

Just checking Bob Alvey Nelson Co. KY Source has that David Richard Carrico b. 1824 died 1-20-1900 New Albany and wife Theresa Sabina Luckett also but he has that David Richard Carrico parents were Benedict Carrico and Sarah Mattingly. Can you check on this with your records. He also has that David Richard Carrico had 9 children, James Hiram, Mary Martina, Ann “Nancy”, David Richard, Susan Carrico, Elizabeth Carrico, Margaret, and John J. ad Thomas B. Carrico. My records comfirm that David Richard Carrico died 1/20/1900 in new Albany, but that wife Theresa died in Hardin County, KY. We need to research this a bit more!

Re my question about the parents of David Richard Carrico and his parents, you had that his parents were Vincent Carrico and Mary Elder. At the time I wrote you I had that source Bob Alvey had that his parents as Benedict Carrico and Sarah Mattingly. Just this week I went to World Connect and was checking on this and now Bob Alvey has David’s parents as Vincent Carrico and Mary Elder. As for David dieing in New Albany and Theresa died in Hardin Co. Ky, perhaps she died first (I do not have any dates for her)and he moved to New Albany near his children or other relatives.
