Mud Meeting House Cemetery

IMG_0178

The following is a list of inscriptions from the Old Mud Meeting House Cemetery, located in Mercer County, Kentucky. It was erected in 1800 by a colony of Huguenots and Low Dutch from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The church is now owned and maintained by the Harrodsburg Historical Society. To view pictures of some of the stones visit my blog from September 2nd – Sunday Afternoon Cemetery Tour. One of the most fantastic parts of the cemetery are the 25 plaques for Revolutionary War Veterans installed by the Sons of the American Revolution.  In the photo above you can see the renovation in progress.

Thank you for this wonderful blog.
